A series of nearly identical young women are found strangled in the dunes along the Atlantic coast. Each was newly married, and each husband has vanished without a trace. Detective Claudio Nassi is the only one convinced all six murders are linked. Haunted by a face he keeps seeing in every photo, he becomes obsessed with catching a killer who may not exist — or may be everyone at once.
